The winter season on Jahorina is in full swing, with perfectly groomed ski slopes and fresh snowfall, creating a true winter wonderland on the Olympic mountain, according to a statement from the Olympic Center Jahorina.
The Olympic Center highlights that new snow and subzero temperatures are providing ideal conditions for skiers and snowboarders. According to forecasts, the upcoming days are expected to be sunny and cold, ensuring excellent skiing conditions.
“Although around 20 centimeters of fresh snow has fallen in recent days, the snowmaking system has been operating whenever conditions allow. The current surface is a combination of artificial and natural snow, which is the best mix for skiing and snowboarding,” the statement reads.
The ski lifts and gondolas are operating at almost full capacity, including:
- Poljice and Partizan gondolas
- Ogorjelica, Skočine, Rajska dolina, and Trnovo six-seaters
- Poljice ski lift
- Beginner zones Poljice, Trnovo, and Ogorjelica
The ski center’s working hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for day skiing and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for night skiing, with both Poljice and Partizan gondolas in operation during the evening.
The Olympic Center Jahorina invites all winter sports enthusiasts to take advantage of the great conditions and enjoy a memorable February skiing experience.
