Luka Vuković, a karateka from Bijeljina, won a silver medal at the World Series A in Cyprus tonight.
Competing under the flag of Serbia, Vuković participated in the 84+ kg category at the event held in Larnaca, Cyprus.
In the first round, Luka had a bye, while in the following rounds he achieved victories over national team members from France, Italy, Brazil, and Iran.
In the semifinals, he defeated an opponent from Taipei, but in the final, he was bested by Ivan Kundzinau from Russia.
Luka Vuković is 24 years old and a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education at the University of East Sarajevo.
