President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated today in Banja Luka that he hopes there will be enough wisdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina to stop the legal persecution of Republika Srpska’s President Milorad Dodik.
- “I don’t want to say anything more on this matter, except that I hope there will be enough intelligence and wisdom,” Vučić emphasized at a press conference in Banja Luka following meetings between officials from Republika Srpska and Serbia.
Vučić reaffirmed that Republika Srpska can always count on Serbia’s support and expressed gratitude to President Dodik for the sincere love and respect he consistently shows towards Serbia.
- “We will continue to work together and build the future, without undermining anyone else or violating international principles,” Vučić stated.
The Serbian president pointed out that this year will be challenging, marking 30 years since the Dayton Agreement, but also since the Croatian military operation “Storm”.
- “This is also the year marking 30 years since Srebrenica, where we must show respect for Bosniak victims. This will be a year filled with intense emotions and political events, but I hope we will succeed in preserving peace and stability,” Vučić concluded.
