Above all, as a human being, I am pleased to see the willingness of two great leaders, U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, to engage in dialogue about ending the war, and with it, the suffering of two friendly nations—Russians and Ukrainians, said Milorad Dodik, the president of Republika Srpska.
Dodik emphasized that this conversation holds global significance, as it demonstrates the power of true leadership and the fulfillment of electoral promises.
“President Trump has shown and proven that his promises were not just empty words, but commitments of a serious and courageous leader that are being realized from the very first day of his mandate,” Dodik stated on X.
The president of Republika Srpska stressed that peace is the highest value.
“Since the beginning of the conflict, I have insisted that dialogue is the only way to end it while respecting the legitimate interests of both states,” Dodik concluded.
