President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has sent a congratulatory message to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the occasion of Russia’s Diplomacy Day.
- On behalf of the citizens of Republika Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere congratulations on Russia’s Diplomacy Day, which celebrates the impressive tradition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and strengthens respect for diplomatic work – Dodik stated.
He emphasized that the responsible, dignified, and courageous work of Russian diplomats, not only for the benefit of their own country but also for nations across the world, represents the highest standard of respect for international law.
Dodik further highlighted that the Serb people deeply value Russia’s diplomatic efforts, which have remained steadfastly committed to the Dayton Peace Agreement, the preservation of peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the respect for the constitutional rights of constituent peoples and the equality of entities, which are the fundamental principles on which Bosnia and Herzegovina is based.
- Republika Srpska is grateful for the continuous cooperation with the leadership of the Russian Federation and its diplomats in strengthening political, economic, educational, cultural, and sports cooperation, which is of great importance for our peoples, bound together by history and traditionally strong relations – the president of Republika Srpska stated in his message.
