A new tourist complex is currently under construction on Busija, on Mount Majevica, led by Svetozar Ostojić – Ćeko and his company Green Hills d.o.o.
Ostojić presented the progress and future plans of the project to municipal representatives and the local community of Lopare.
So far, approximately 150 dunams of land have been cultivated and developed into a park area, with the complex already connected to the water supply and electricity network. Three ski slopes have been built – a sledding track, a children’s slope, and a slope for adults. A ski lift has been installed on the children’s slope, which was tested at the end of last year.
In addition to winter attractions, work on the artificial lake has been completed.
The project also includes the construction of a church, expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Further plans include the construction of two hospitality facilities – one near the ski resort and another next to the children’s playgrounds. Additionally, street lighting is planned along three kilometers of roads, along with the commencement of apartment complex construction.
Ostojić emphasized that local community support is crucial for the project’s realization, particularly in road rehabilitation leading to Busija and the asphalting of internal roads within the complex.
The Mayor of Lopare, Rado Savić, stated that the presented plans have been accepted, and the municipality will support their implementation.
“We expect Busija to gain new attractions this year, which will be significant for our citizens and all nature lovers,” said Savić, as published on the Lopare Municipality official page.
