Exhibition “Drawings and Paintings” by Anja Savić in Banja Luka

The exhibition “Drawings and Paintings” by the young and exceptionally talented artist Anja Savić, a ninth-grade student at Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Elementary School in Srbac, has been opened at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka.

This exhibition is the result of her dedication, perseverance, and love for art, with works created during the 2023/2024 school year as part of the NAUM program, under the expert mentorship of art teacher Danijela Lepir.

At the official opening, the attendees were addressed by Professor Srđan Dušanić, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Milica Drobać Pavićević, an associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and the conceptual creator of the NAUM program, as well as Danijela Lepir, the exhibition’s mentor. The speakers emphasized the importance of supporting young artists and the significance of the space provided by the Faculty of Philosophy for fostering creativity and talent.

Each piece in this exhibition carries the mark of dedication, deep emotion, and attention that Anja has invested in every drawing and painting. Special emphasis has been placed on her ability to depict the world around her through colors and lines, demonstrating maturity and a sense of artistry beyond her years. This exhibition clearly proves that talent, combined with the support of mentors and the right environment, can reach exceptional heights.

The Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka, remains committed to its mission of supporting young, talented, and creative individuals, providing them with the opportunity to present their work to the wider public.
