Prnjavor athlete Jelena Gajić won a gold medal in the 800-meter race at the international meeting in Budapest.
Gajić stated that she did not expect such a strong result, as this was her first race of the season.
“I had good preparations in Antalya, and I expect a strong season. The competition in Budapest was extremely tough, but what makes me especially happy is my time. I have never opened a season this well,” said Jelena.
In two weeks, Jelena Gajić will compete at the meeting in Gothenburg.
“I expect another good result. I believe I can further improve my time and break the records of Republika Srpska and BiH. This part of the season is focused on indoor competitions, but my main focus is on the summer season and outdoor races,” Jelena added.
