Borac’s head coach, Mladen Žižović, was pleased with his team’s performance in their second test match in Antalya, where they played to a goalless draw (0:0) against Kairat.
“It was a high-quality match against the champions of Kazakhstan. Very dynamic, with plenty of duels. We had some good opportunities to score, and we will work on our attacking play in the coming period. The players are working hard, and most importantly, there are no injuries. The result is not our main focus—we want to use these preparations to fine-tune and improve certain aspects of our game. We’ve seen many positive things, and perhaps it’s even better that some areas still need improvement at this stage, as we have time to address them and ensure they don’t happen again,” Žižović emphasized.
It is worth noting that in the final moments of the match, Stojan Vranješ had the opportunity to secure a victory for Borac but failed to convert a penalty.
Borac will remain in Antalya until February 6.
