Moscow will continue to support Serbia and the survival of Republika Srpska

The ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Alexander Bocan-Harchenko, stated that Moscow will continue to support Serbia in international organizations, the UN Security Council, and wherever necessary, just as it supports the survival of Republika Srpska.

He emphasized that Russia’s position will not change and that the Russian Federation will never recognize the independence of so-called Kosovo, reaffirming that this remains one of the most important directions of cooperation between Belgrade and Moscow.

Speaking about the parallels between Crimea-Russia and Kosovo-Serbia, Bocan-Harchenko reiterated that Crimea has always been a part of Russia, just as Kosovo is a part of Serbia.

“It is difficult to imagine Russia without Crimea and Serbia without Kosovo,” Bocan-Harchenko stated in the show Conversations with Zlojutro.

He pointed out that, from a historical perspective, Crimea has always been a part of Russia, and it is unimaginable for Russia to exist without it.

“And when it comes to Kosovo, it is difficult to imagine Serbia without Kosovo, which is its cradle—both spiritually and in every other sense,” Bocan-Harchenko emphasized.
