The cinema in the Trebinje Cultural Center saw a significant rise in attendance during 2024, with 12,079 viewers, marking an increase of approximately 2,000 visitors compared to previous years.
Miljan Vuković, director of the Cultural Center, highlighted that 85 different titles were screened last year:
- 33 animated films
- 52 feature films
- A total of 484 individual screenings
The most-watched movie in 2024 was the domestic film “Nedelja,” attracting 1,744 viewers, while among animated and children’s films, “Mufasa” was the top choice, with 412 spectators.
Vuković also emphasized the continuation of cooperation with numerous European embassies and cultural centers:
- Spanish, Japanese, and French Film Days were organized, showcasing ten special cinematic works from these countries.
- These films were screened for free for the Trebinje audience.
Regular screening schedule
Trebinje cinema operates on a fixed schedule, with screenings every weekday at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, except on Wednesdays, which are reserved for a break or technical pause.
