Slovenians among the biggest fans of Republika Srpska’s tourism offerings

The Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska (TORS) is participating in the 35th International Tourism Fair Natur Alpe – Adria, which will be held in Ljubljana until February 1.

The fair is specifically tailored for nature lovers, those who appreciate natural values and experiences, as well as adventure tourism enthusiasts, stated Sanela Šimun, a public relations associate at the Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska, in a statement for Srna.

The Tourist Organization of Republika Srpska will have its own exhibition space and will focus particularly on promoting adventure tourism, including rafting, canyoning, hiking, cycling, Mount Jahorina, national parks Kozara and Sutjeska, the Visitor Center Pecka, and the Eco Zone Šipovo.

“Representatives at the TORS stand will also present the tourism offerings of the municipalities and cities of Foča, Zvornik, Novi Grad, Nevesinje, and Srebrenica, along with the Olympic Center Jahorina, Terme Ozren, travel agencies Cepter and Unis, as well as hotels Integra and Marriott in Banja Luka,” said Šimun.

She added that special attention will also be given to festival tourism, city break destinations, religious tourism, and spa tourism.

“Given the significant number of tourists coming to Republika Srpska from Slovenia, this promotional event is of great importance for boosting tourism flows,” Šimun emphasized.

She also noted that Slovenian tourists have consistently ranked among the top visitors in terms of overnight stays and arrivals. Last year, they secured third place with 82,458 overnight stays.
