The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, expressed deep sorrow upon receiving the news of the tragic plane crash near Washington.
“In my own name and on behalf of the citizens of Republika Srpska, I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims, to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and to the American people. I also wish a swift and successful recovery to those injured,” Dodik stated in a post on the social media platform X.
At least 18 people lost their lives when a passenger plane carrying 64 people collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter transporting three soldiers. The crash occurred on Wednesday evening, with both aircraft plunging into the Potomac River while attempting to land at Ronald Reagan Airport near Washington.
