The Serb member and chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, met today in Banja Luka with the UN Resident Coordinator in BiH, Ingrid McDonald, to discuss cooperation with UN agencies operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the potential launch of new projects aimed at ensuring balanced development across all regions of the country.
The meeting also addressed current issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and global challenges, according to a statement from the Presidency of BiH.
Cvijanović expressed gratitude for the constructive assistance and support that UN agencies have provided to citizens and institutions in BiH through various programs.
Both parties assessed the long-standing cooperation as successful and expressed confidence that the implementation of various projects—particularly in the fields of local development, human rights protection, and environmental sustainability—will continue.
