The Serb member and Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, met today in Banja Luka with Slovenia’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Anžej Frangeš, to discuss current political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European integration process.
Cvijanović once again emphasized the importance of respecting the constitutional positions of various levels of government and ensuring a balanced EU approach toward all entities within Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to a statement from the Presidency of BiH.
She also expressed gratitude for Slovenia’s continued support on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path and for its understanding of the current political situation in the country.
The two officials exchanged information and views on other regional and European issues as well.
The meeting was also attended by Slovenia’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Damijan Sedar.
