Budimir: Judiciary in BiH serves to implement Bosniak political agenda

Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Banja Luka, Željko Budimir, stated that the judiciary in BiH is used to implement a hegemonic Bosniak political agenda aimed at undermining key symbols in Republika Srpska, namely the position and institution of its president.

Budimir emphasized that more than 30 days have passed since the last hearing in the case against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik due to his surgical intervention on December 9. He pointed out that the law is clear: the main hearing before the Court of BiH must restart.

“The Court of BiH is unlikely to respect its own rules or the Criminal Code, and one can expect anything. I have no expectations of fairness from this court,” Budimir told reporters in Banja Luka.

The main hearing against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and Acting Director of “Službeni Glasnik” Miloš Lukić, charged with “disrespecting decisions of Christian Schmidt,” is scheduled to take place tomorrow in the Court of BiH.

Budimir: Celebrating Republic Day and Saint Sava fosters Serb tradition

Željko Budimir, Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska, stated that celebrating Republic Day and Saint Sava’s Day strengthens the traditions of the Serb people and enriches perspectives on education.

“We are a people with a long tradition in all areas of higher education, and I hope that nurturing tradition helps us improve the quality of higher education institutions,” Budimir said during a reception held at the Student Cultural Center of the University of Banja Luka on the occasion of Republic Day and Saint Sava’s Day.

Budimir highlighted that the Government of Republika Srpska has invested significantly in higher education projects, including the Student Cultural Center equipped with a multimedia theater hall.

“The Ministry will continue to support such projects to develop a unique and authentic approach to higher education, which must follow global trends while retaining its distinctiveness,” Budimir stated.

The Rector of the University of Banja Luka, Radoslav Gajanin, noted that the academic community consistently commemorates the day of the first Serb educator, Saint Sava.

Gajanin emphasized that this event is being held for the first time in the Student Cultural Center, inaugurated in June last year.

“This is a multimedia space primarily intended for theater performances but also for other cultural events,” Gajanin concluded.
