Students from Novi Grad win global coding competition

A team of students from “Sveti Sava” Elementary School in Novi Grad has claimed first place in the global online coding competition hosted by South Africa. The competition featured 50 teams from around the world.

The world champions in programming are Igor Jeremić, Nikša Repac, Dario Bjelajac, Balša Maran, and Savan Jovanović.

Although the official time limit for solving the tasks was 60 minutes, the team from “Sveti Sava” Elementary School completed them in just 18 minutes.

Daily practice and hard work paid off, securing their victory.

The team’s mentor, computer science teacher Gordana Vujanović, has guided the school’s students to numerous accolades over the years.

More than 20 of her former students have gone on to graduate in electrical engineering and computer science, achieving success in these fields.
