The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, announced that he will initiate a proposal to declare March 1 a day of mourning in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Dodik stated that the recent remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković, about proposing January 9 to be declared a “day of mourning,” are both a threat and an insult to Republika Srpska and the Serbs, to which there will be a response.
“If he expects there will be no retaliation, I assure him that we will respond,” Dodik said.
Dodik emphasized that his primary focus remains Republika Srpska.
- “I have dedicated my entire life to Republika Srpska, and I will continue to do so, now with even greater effort. I will assemble my team and motivate them to make additional efforts,” Dodik stressed.
