Bijeljina’s Radnik is set to welcome two experienced internationals from Serbia by the end of the day: defensive midfielder Srđan Grabež and winger Stefan Denković.
Both 33 years old, the players last featured in clubs from the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Grabež played for Sloga Doboj, while Denković was with Igman Konjic.
Grabež began his career at Mladost Apatin before moving to Slovakia, where he played for Dubnica and Spartak Trnava. He then returned to Serbia, representing clubs such as Feniks, Elan, Bačka, TSC, Javor Matis, and Mladost GAT, eventually joining Doboj in June 2023.
Denković, who holds both Serbian and Montenegrin citizenship, started in the youth ranks of Crvena Zvezda. He was loaned to Sopot and later transferred to Israeli club Hapoel Haifa. His career also includes stints with Vojvodina, Hungary’s Puskás Akadémia, Poland’s Zawisza, Serbian club Zemun, and Montenegrin teams Bokelj and Sutjeska Nikšić. He has also played for Spartak Subotica, Kazakhstan’s Kyzylzhar, Georgia’s Dinamo Batumi, and Montenegrin side Dečić, joining Igman in March 2023.
Prior to these signings, Radnik added Faruk Gogić and Slovenian international Žan Flis to their roster. More new arrivals are expected at the Bijeljina City Stadium in the coming days.
The sole objective for Radnik’s players and coaching staff in the remainder of the season is to secure their place in the league.
