Gorica Dodik, daughter of the president of Republika Srpska, commented on the recent US sanctions, saying that the reasons behind them can only make one laugh.
- “Michael Murphy will probably request that after his death, his ashes be scattered over Sarajevo. On that day, don’t measure air pollution,” Dodik remarked.
She “congratulated” her husband, Pavle Ćorović, on the sanctions imposed on him by the outgoing US administration, highlighting that both of them are now officially on the “blacklist.”
- “The explanation for Pavle’s sanctions is his alleged connection to the company Global Liberty, which has long since been dissolved and had zero turnover. This explanation is even worse than the reason I was sanctioned—for supporting my father. All you can do is laugh,” Dodik wrote on her X account.
