The City Tamburitza Orchestra of Banja Luka will hold its traditional New Year’s gala concert at the Concert Hall of the Cultural Center Banski Dvor today and tomorrow, January 16 and 17.
“Dear friends, we invite you to the New Year’s gala concert at Banski Dvor. Join us to start this year with the magical sounds of tamburitza. For over two decades, the Banja Luka Tamburitza Orchestra has been spreading positive vibes to local and international audiences, performing traditional and folk tamburitza music, evergreen songs, opera and film music, as well as old town songs and romances,” the statement read.
Conductor Nikolina Babić has prepared a program for the Banja Luka audience that caters to all musical tastes, featuring melodies that have marked the local and European music scene over the past few decades.
The orchestra will be joined by a lineup of soloists well known to the Banja Luka audience: Natalija Todorović, Katarina Babić, Marko Babić, Neven Marinković, Kristina Babić, Ana Marković, Nevena Dragosavac, Јovana Dabić, Nataša Vukojević Dukić, Danilo Milosavljević, Anando Čenić, and Ana Јovanić.
Both concerts will begin at 8:00 PM.
