The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, extended congratulations to the citizens of Republika Srpska on the occasion of January 9—Republika Srpska Day.
- On behalf of the Government of Republika Srpska and myself, I send my sincerest congratulations on January 9—Republika Srpska Day, the day when the foundation of our freedom and survival was laid – stated Prime Minister Višković.
Republika Srpska as a symbol of unity
Višković emphasized that “Republika Srpska is our sanctity and our vow.”
- It is a symbol of the struggle, hope, and will of a people ready to pay the ultimate price for their right to life, their name, language, and faith. Today, 33 years later, we are fighting different battles to preserve the hard-earned rights. On this path, we must remain united, gathering around Republika Srpska as our essence—something that can never and must never be questioned under any circumstances – Višković stated.
A continuing struggle
Višković reminded that “our struggle is not over because Srpska remains a symbol of perseverance and defiance in the face of every challenge.”
- Our strength lies in unity, love for our land, and faith in the future. And for that reason, we will never allow anyone to take away what our ancestors created and preserved. With pride and dignity, let us raise flags on every balcony because Republika Srpska lives within us—it is ‘Born for Eternity.’ Happy Republika Srpska Day! – concluded Prime Minister Višković.
