New Year’s Eve celebrations were organized in several cities across Republika Srpska, featuring outdoor events and concerts:
- Banja Luka – Performances by Đorđe David, Ivana Peters, and Senidah took place at Park “Mladen Stojanović.” A New Year’s Day celebration on January 1st was held at three locations, featuring the band One Tri, Rock Symphony, and DJs. A children’s New Year’s celebration was also organized.
- Trebinje – Performances by Magdalena Vračić and Ivana Milojević.
- Bijeljina – The band Valentino performed, followed by a DJ party. On January 9th, Beogradski Sindikat and Pavlina Radovanović will perform to mark Republika Srpska Day. For Orthodox New Year’s Eve, Bane Mojićević will perform.
- Prijedor – Local musicians Dejan Ćulum, Mirjana Boltić, and Bum Band performed at Major Zoran Karlica Square. A New Year’s Day concert by Nikola Rokvić was scheduled, while Danica Crnogorčević will perform on January 9th.
- Doboj – Viki Miljković performed in the City Park during the “Winter Wonderland” celebration.
- Prnjavor – A concert was held at the city square starting at 9:30 PM, followed by fireworks at midnight.
Cities without organized outdoor celebrations:
- Novi Grad – Only Orthodox New Year’s Eve on January 13th will be celebrated.
- East Sarajevo – Celebrations were held in restaurants and cafes.
- Srebrenica – No official celebrations; many residents joined events in nearby Bratunac and Ljubovija.
Belgrade – a popular destination for citizens of Republika Srpska
- Celebrations at Republic Square featured Haris Džinović, Marina Visković, and Željko Vasić. The program began at 3:30 PM with DJs, while live performances started at 9:00 PM.
