This weekend, Gradiška could easily earn the title of the sweetest city in Republika Srpska. As part of the “Gradiška Winter” event, the second chocolate festival was organized. Visitors showed the most interest in the globally popular “Dubai chocolate.”
Local confectioners in Gradiška presented the “Dubai chocolate” in a unique way.
They added ingredients sourced from Lijevče polje and Potkozarje to the basic recipe.
- We decided to fill it with our hazelnut butter, enriched with 25% chocolate, creating our ‘choco butter.’ This gave us an excellent combination with Dubai chocolate – said Zoran Janjetović from the company “Zlatni Lješnjak,” Piskavica.
Many visitors were left speechless, savoring chocolate cakes and gingerbread cookies, which, besides being delicious treats, can also serve as souvenirs or gifts.
The youngest visitors, accustomed to chocolate bars, were slightly puzzled by the chocolate-based drinks.
The chocolate festival in Gradiška will remain open tomorrow, when the Winter City will also host a children’s New Year’s celebration.
