The Mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, met today with the Russian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov, emphasizing that in a changing world, the Russian Federation plays an increasingly significant role, and it is up to the Serbian people to find their place in this dynamic.
Ćosić highlighted that despite constant attempts by Western powers to portray the Russian Federation as a destabilizing factor in this region and worldwide, the people of Republika Srpska are well aware of the truth, having been subjected to such propaganda for more than 30 years, according to a statement from the City Administration.
The Mayor of East Sarajevo hosted the Russian Ambassador in his office, noting that Kalabukhov is one of the few diplomats in Bosnia and Herzegovina who objectively evaluates the situation in the country and is not afraid to publicly express his views.
“This is why it is extremely important to maintain such contacts and exchange information of mutual significance,” Ćosić stated.
