Every citizen in BiH would wish for the usually slow and inefficient judiciary to act as quickly and decisively as it has in the case of the disgraceful political persecution of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, stated Radovan Kovačević, a delegate in the Serb Caucus of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly’s House of Peoples.
“Suddenly, they waste no time,” Kovačević wrote on social media.
In contrast, he added, when it comes to prosecuting war crimes against Serbs, trials drag on for years, even decades, often without any resolution.
Kovačević suggested that the judiciary seems desperate to ensure no one forgets that its primary purpose is the persecution of Serbs.
- “The fact that they requested a medical expert evaluation of Milorad Dodik’s condition while he was still hospitalized is just another direct confirmation that this is purely political persecution of the democratically elected leader of Serbs in BiH. Republika Srpska will prevail!” Kovačević concluded.
