The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, has received an invitation from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to attend the official events marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, scheduled to take place in Moscow on May 9, 2025.
“This significant date symbolizes the end of the most devastating war in the history of mankind. We deeply honor the heroism of our fathers and grandfathers and bow our heads in memory of the numerous victims of Nazism. I am convinced that preserving the memory of the Great Victory will strengthen our shared determination to oppose any manifestations of neo-Nazism, as well as enhance constructive cooperation aimed at ensuring peace and security on the planet. I would be sincerely pleased to see you in Moscow,” the letter from Putin states.
