Galijašević: shameful political project against the president of Republika Srpska

The trial of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a shameful political project, said security expert Dževad Galijašević in a morning program.

“Any verdict other than an acquittal would be absurd,” Galijašević stated, adding that the trial is staged, senseless, and disgraceful.

According to Galijašević, the prosecution of President Dodik lacks any rational, legal, or political justification. He noted that the selection of judges demonstrates the state of the judicial system.

“How is it possible that CMS always selects Bosniak judges and prosecutors for such critical cases? Are there no other judges and prosecutors at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina besides Bosniaks who are involved in the prosecution of Dodik?” he questioned.

Galijašević reiterated that the trial is disgraceful, asserting that the alleged criminal offense does not exist.

“There is no such offense. Such a legislator does not exist anywhere,” he declared.

Galijašević also recently published a new book titled Ghosts of the Past through the esteemed Banja Luka-Belgrade publishing house Romanov.

He explained that this book discusses how Islamism has become the new face of national socialism and terrorism.

“It essentially deals with a type of historical and political analysis. I’m not writing a new history, but I analyze events and phenomena in an understandable way. I aim to clarify the roles of certain people in specific processes. I also provide new contributions to the biography of Alija Izetbegović, discussing how Muslim politics and today’s Bosniak politics have historically led to negative security consequences. And how nothing has changed since the 19th century,” Galijašević said.
