The main objective of the trial against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, is to convict the President of Srpska and prevent him from political activity, stated Željko Budimir, the Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska, outside the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Budimir emphasized that the direction of the proceedings is clear.
“They aim to disqualify the most important political figure. It’s essential to understand that no positive outcome can be expected from this process. What started as an unlawful decision by Christian Schmidt cannot be legitimized through legal means, and the President will be acquitted,” Budimir stated.
