Andrej Dragičević with seven goals and Dražen Milinković with six were the top scorers for the home team, while Davor Živanić scored four goals, reaching his 400th goal for Derventa and helping the club reach 10,000 goals in the Republika Srpska League. “I honestly expected a tougher game, as Mladost is a top team. However, we gained an early lead and maintained it to the end. We’re in great form, playing with quality. Regarding the milestone of 400 goals for Derventa, it could have been more if I hadn’t taken a two-season break. Still, I’m very satisfied; I’m in my hometown and want to make a mark with the team. Derventa aims to fight for the title, and as players, we’ll do everything to achieve it. The team is excellent, which is evident from the atmosphere and results. We’re determined to secure first place. If we succeed, we’ll need greater support, as the BiH League is three times more costly. These players are committed to playing quality handball and bringing joy to our city and fans,” said Živanić.
In this round, we also record the first victory for Teslić handball players, who defeated Drina 29-27.
