The footballers of Banja Luka’s Borac convincingly defeated the team of Igman with a score of 4-0 (2-0) in the 13th round of the BiH Premier League.
Mladen Žižović’s team welcomed the Konjic squad in cold and foggy weather, which affected the attendance at the City Stadium in Banja Luka.
In the 14th minute, Banja Luka took the lead, 1-0.
After a poor clearance by the visiting team following a cross from the left, Borac players reclaimed the ball, and Grahovac immediately passed it to Kulašin, who scored on his first touch for 1-0.
In stoppage time of the first half, Despotović’s brilliant strike extended Borac’s lead to 2-0.
After several headers following a corner, the ball reached Despotović, who expertly controlled it before sending it into the top corner of Ćeman’s goal.
In the 69th minute, Borac’s third goal made it 3-0.
Despotović won possession, passed it wide to Kulašin, who crossed behind Igman’s defense, and Ogrinec scored with a first-time shot, leaving Ćeman no chance.
The final goal, securing a decisive 4-0 victory, was again scored by Despotović, marking his sixth goal of the season.
This time, Ogrinec provided the assist, making a run down the wing and finding three Borac players available. The ball reached Despotović, who calmly finished to make it 4-0.
In the next round of the BiH Championship, after the national break due to the Nations League, Borac will visit Tuzla’s Sloboda on November 23, while Igman will host Željezničar on the same day.
