The president and founder of the organization “Serbs for Trump” in the USA, Olga Ravasi, stated in an interview with SRNA that a victory for Republican candidate Donald Trump is very important for Serbia, Republika Srpska, and the entire Serb people due to reduced pressures. She expressed that Democrat Kamala Harris would not be beneficial for the world and, primarily, for America.
“We hope for Trump’s victory, which is very significant for Serbia, Republika Srpska, and all Serbs, both in the diaspora and in the Balkans, considering we have seen his policies regarding the Balkans and specifically the Serbs,” Ravasi said.
Ravasi highlighted that turnout is very high among Republicans, with early voting numbers currently in their favor.
“In all states, we are currently up by around two to four percent. Kamala Harris was only leading in New Hampshire. However, that doesn’t mean much. If things continue as they are, we are guaranteed the 270 electoral votes needed for Trump to win,” she stated.
Ravasi, the founder of the Serbian lobby group Sava-PAC, pointed out that during Trump’s four-year administration, there was less pressure on Serbia, the Serb people, and Republika Srpska, and constructive developments took place.
“We had the chance to observe Trump’s policies, and over the past four years, we have seen the approach of Joseph Biden and what to expect from Kamala Harris’s policies, which, for Serbs, the region, and the world, but especially for America, are not good,” she emphasized.
She noted that Serbs, as Americans of Serb descent, primarily view the situation through their American interests and daily events in the USA, where the economy is in poor condition, and the borders are fully open.
“We have no control over illegal immigration or those who have already arrived in America, some of whom have criminal records and are altering the image of this country in major cities,” Ravasi said.
She added that Democrats are panicking because they are losing and may attempt to declare the elections invalid, potentially leading to measures that could result in civil unrest in the USA.
Ravasi noted the poor economic situation, the completely open borders, and stated that Democrats aim to change the country’s demographics with the help of illegal immigrants.
Serbs in America have never been such an important factor in an election campaign
Ravasi recalled that “Serbs for Trump,” an organization established in the USA in 2016, has been heavily involved in Trump’s election campaign. In the 2016 presidential election, states with significant Serb populations, such as Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, tipped the balance in favor of Trump’s victory over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
She mentioned that “Serbs for Trump” made an unprecedented move in the history of the Serb community in America, as Serbs have never been so recognized or significant in an election campaign, particularly a presidential one.
“We are very proud of everything we’ve done, our contribution to this campaign, and we continue to work with Trump, his campaign staff, and his entire team, hoping for the best,” she said, noting that Trump has garnered support from prominent figures like Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Democrats aim to alter demographics with the help of illegal immigrants
Ravasi stated that the Democratic administration allowed illegal immigrants to vote, which is unprecedented worldwide, as it grants voting rights to those who, having entered the country illegally, remain unlawfully.
“The Democrats’ policy is to change the country’s demographics, placing immigrants in states and districts that could tip the balance in voting, such as Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, even Iowa, and Ohio. They’ve positioned illegal immigrants in rural areas and enabled them to vote,” Ravasi said.
She pointed out the shocking fact that these people don’t even need to appear at polling stations, as their mere presence in the USA allows ballots to be issued in their names in certain states.
“That’s the problem. This fraud has been going on for a long time. Illegal immigrants never have to go to the polls or appear at a polling station, but simply being in the country guarantees a ballot in their name. Whether it’s illegal seems to no longer concern anyone, which is entirely unconstitutional. That’s the main issue,” she explained.
She added that these Democratic, so-called “blue states,” are actively pursuing this, and it must be stopped.
Democrats are panicking and may resort to measures that could lead to civil war
Regarding early voting in many states, she said Republicans are clearly leading. Voter turnout is low among Democrats, especially in demographic groups on whom they rely, particularly minority voters, often African-American men, who have largely shifted their support to Trump.
“So, as for the Democrats, they are currently in a state of panic and are not doing well in numbers. But we will see what happens. That’s why we insist that everyone goes to the polls and that no one gives up until the last legitimate vote is counted—emphasis on legitimate vote,” said Ravasi, who attended election night at Trump’s campaign headquarters in Palm Beach.
Regarding the readiness of National Guards in many U.S. states, Ravasi stated that it’s clear that the Democratic administration, through so-called legal processes, is attempting to declare the election invalid in advance, effectively withholding certification by the majority electoral body.
“Democrats have already hinted at this, with some congressmen publicly stating their preparations. Judging by what we saw in 2020, with cities burning and widespread chaos, one can only imagine what they have planned this time,” she said.
She also highlighted the “witch hunt” not only against Trump but also against his supporters.
“Anything is possible, all options are on the table for the Democrats, which is the clearest signal to us that they are in panic, aware they are losing, and that they are losing legally. Therefore, they may be forced to take measures that, unfortunately, could lead this country into civil war,” Ravasi concluded.
Ravasi expressed hope that the election results will be clear by the end of election day, though some states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan have already announced that results may not be immediately available.
One of the two candidates needs at least 270 out of 538 electoral votes to win the U.S. presidential election.
