Neven Đenadija, a research associate at the Center for Socio-Political Research of Republika Srpska, is participating in the International Scientific Symposium “Creating the Future” in Moscow. He will speak on the panel “The Future of Digital International Relations” about a concept he originally proposed, called “BRICS SWAPAI.”
“This idea aims to develop a platform using AI – artificial intelligence – to enable goods exchange for countries under sanctions or excluded from the SWIFT code system, making them unable to participate in the international payment network,” Đenadija explained.
He added that the plan is to first pilot this platform among BRICS countries, which, as he noted, face significant sanctions and are increasingly consolidating their efforts to establish a shared monetary market.
Today, digital transformation processes profoundly impact various aspects of international relations, the global economy, and the future of diplomatic services.
The development of advanced digital technologies is becoming a crucial factor in shaping a multipolar world order based on respecting the interests of all countries within the global community, grounded in principles of sovereign equality and inclusiveness.
Russia stands as a central power in the global digital society and an intellectual leader in understanding emerging trends in global digital transformation.
