President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, emphasized that the recent meeting in Sarajevo was significant in demonstrating to the public that there are no camps in Srpska.
“There are no camps in Republika Srpska. This is a malicious scheme against us, an attempt to destabilize and create a narrative around property issues because they want to take our property. Their only problem, however, is how to remove Dodik,” stated Dodik in the show Drugi ugao.
He noted that those in Sarajevo consistently claim, “Dodik is the problem.”
Dodik clarified that Srpska has no organized terrorist cells, thanks to years of stabilization efforts. However, he warned of potential security threats from radical circles in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), motivated by Islamic extremism.
“We’ve managed to make Republika Srpska a model of stability and safety for people. The threat does not come from Srpska; the threat comes from radicalized, Islam-motivated groups within the FBiH,” Dodik added.
Dodik expressed willingness to engage in dialogue but insisted that any resolutions must respect Srpska’s autonomy. He criticized the “lies” from those claiming Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) seeks EU membership while suggesting Srpska does not.
“We want EU membership, but in accordance with our Constitution. We understand that reforms are necessary, but we won’t fulfill the wishes of Muslims in Sarajevo to turn Republika Srpska into a hollow shell through these reforms—that will never happen,” he emphasized, addressing concerns raised by the U.S. Embassy in BiH regarding alleged training camps in Srpska for Russian-instigated unrest in Moldova.
Dodik accused the U.S. Embassy in BiH of spreading these unfounded claims, stating that no organization worldwide could confirm the existence of such camps.
“The U.S. Embassy in BiH has retracted its statement about the camps in Republika Srpska, but traces of this lie remain. No organization has data on this. No European intelligence service has information on this. It exists only in the sick mind of Murphy,” Dodik concluded.
