Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Radovan Kovačević, questioned how it is possible that every external demand towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, since the signing of the Dayton Agreement, has always been aimed at the centralization of the country.
Kovačević asked how it is possible that every action and decision by the high representatives has always involved the centralization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“How is it possible that the role of foreigners in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has always been crucial in making decisions that centralize the country? How is it possible that no reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina has ever been aimed at improving the lives of the people, but always and exclusively towards centralization?” Kovačević asked.
Kovačević also questioned how it is possible that, while there are more decentralized countries than Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Union, the EU always demands the centralization of Bosnia and Herzegovina for its progress on the European path.
“We have long known and understood all of this. There’s just one thing we don’t understand: how is it possible that they don’t understand that Republika Srpska will never again allow itself to be diminished?! Long live Republika Srpska,” Kovačević wrote on the social media platform X.
