The mayor of the City of Laktaši, Miroslav Bojić, and the executive vice president of the Provincial People’s Association of Gansu Province for Friendship with Foreign Countries, People’s Republic of China, signed a letter of intent to establish diplomatic relations aimed at enhancing mutual friendship and cooperation.
This significant event marks a step forward in the development of relations between the two cities, based on the principles of mutual respect.
According to the statement, the agreement lays the foundation for strengthening cooperation in numerous areas, including industry, agriculture, trade, education, sports, culture, and tourism.
They added that this partnership will enable more intensive exchange of experiences and knowledge, contributing to the mutual development of both communities.
“Cooperation between Srpska and China is a key element of our joint development. I am proud that the City of Laktaši is among the first in our region to open its doors to new partners from China, one of the world’s leading economic powers,” Bojić emphasized.
He further added that these partnerships not only strengthen economic ties but also contribute to cultural understanding and friendship.
“We believe that through the exchange of experiences and resources, we can achieve mutual benefits that will positively impact the lives of our citizens. At this moment, more than ever, it is important to strengthen the friendships between our peoples and build foundations for future generations,” Bojić highlighted.
Officials from both cities stressed the importance of active interpersonal exchange and further development of cooperation. It is expected that additional agreements will be signed in the future, opening new opportunities for collaboration.
