The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated today that the Court of BiH is continuing with a farce and a political process against him and the acting director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, Miloš Lukić.
“It’s a farce that they are trying to turn into something that could appear serious. The court hasn’t proven anything and couldn’t prove anything; it was just bluffing,” Dodik said after today’s hearing at the Court of BiH.
He emphasized that the court failed to present the necessary evidence.
“None of that has been done properly. This is all nonsense, a waste of time, a farce, a disgrace to the entire judiciary,” Dodik stated.
Dodik reiterated that the court has not managed to prove anything related to the Dayton Agreement, Annex 10, or the so-called Bonn Powers.
Today’s hearing at the Court of BiH involved charges against Dodik and Lukić for “disregarding the decisions of Christian Schmidt,” with Dalibor Panić, Secretary General of the Government of Republika Srpska and a member of the Board of Directors of the Official Gazette, testifying.
The next hearings are scheduled for October 9, 16, and 30.
Judge Sena Uzunović rejected the request of the second defendant to call Schmidt as a witness.
