Borac plays away against Posušje

The head coach of Borac, Mladen Žižović, ahead of tomorrow’s match of the 8th round of the Premier League of BiH, where his team will play against Posušje at 6 PM at the “Mokri Dolac” stadium, highlighted that it might be a good thing that this match comes after the unexpected home defeat against Sarajevo.

Posušje has been performing excellently at the beginning of this season and, after seven matches, is in second place with 14 points. Meanwhile, after impressive performances on the European stage and a strong start in the league, Banja Luka’s team suffered a loss in the 7th round at the City Stadium, falling 0-1 to the team from “Koševo.”

“Posušje is playing well this season, and they have some good individual players we will need to watch out for. Overall, it might be better for us that this match comes after the Sarajevo game (0-1), and I hope we will have a good response and achieve what we want – three points,” said Žižović.

According to him, Borac’s main advantage is their much stronger roster.

“Considering all that we have accomplished in the past three months, we have every right to aim for a win in every match, and that is our only goal. Of course, Posušje has quality, but we have enough confidence to come out of this situation even stronger. We are dealing with some minor injuries, but we will see after today’s training who will be the most prepared to step up and go for the win. It’s certain that David Vuković will not play due to injury, while captain Srđan Grahovac is doubtful, and we will see if he’ll be ready,” Žižović continued.

He also commented a bit more on the upcoming opponent.

“Posušje is in a good atmosphere, they played a match on such a field, they feel a lot of positive energy, they are dangerous in transitions, and they have a quality midfield. You can tell they’ve spent a lot of time together, and that is their biggest strength at the moment. We know their strengths but also their weaknesses, and I have no doubt we’ll be ready, as we aim to collect three points, which will push us back toward the top of the table, especially since we have some games in hand. Only four matches have been played, with 87 points still up for grabs, so there’s plenty of room and games ahead for all of us,” added Žižović.

Borac’s coach Mladen Žižović emphasized the importance of the quality of new pitches, which have been installed at most stadiums, including “Mokri Dolac.”

“Times are changing, but these new pitches allow us to perform better. We remember how it used to be; it was gloomy, but now those problems are behind us,” said Žižović.
