Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Đokić, who will participate in the traditional “Russian Energy Week” forum this week, emphasized the significance of Srpska’s continued presence at this gathering where all crucial global energy issues are discussed.
Đokić pointed out that this forum stands on par with the largest European energy conferences.
“All major global energy issues are being considered, discussions on new technologies, emerging challenges, and the necessity for the world to adapt to new steps forward are taking place. This includes the move toward renewable energy and growth in the field of green energy,” Đokić said.
He explained that the forum seeks to globally address negative climate changes through the development of the energy sector, which involves an increasing focus on renewable energy sources while simultaneously managing all negative impacts on the climate.
“Clearly, there are significant climate changes happening every year, and organized action is required to address them,” Đokić added.
He noted that Russia, as a global superpower, contributes to the planetary growth of all that is positive, especially new achievements in the energy sector in the coming decades, through this event.
Đokić expressed his satisfaction that the forum remains free from political overtones or any desire for domination. Instead, the discussions focus on how to make the world a better place and how to improve energy life and activities in a way that allows every nation and country to contribute as partners.
The Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska will attend the forum on Thursday, September 26, marking his fifth participation in the “Russian Energy Week.”
