The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, has confirmed that it was no secret that the Intelligence and Security Agency (OBA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina planned an assassination attempt against the presidents of Republika Srpska and Serbia, Milorad Dodik and Aleksandar Vučić. Stevandić noted that representatives of Republika Srpska were aware of this while Osman Mehmedagić Osmica was the head of the agency.
Stevandić stated that, although there was no mechanism to prove the assassination plan, the leadership of Republika Srpska has endured while those plotting against them and attempting to destabilize Republika Srpska have faded into history.
- “This is the best possible message. Those who planned this are either in prison or have disappeared from the political scene, while we, who are protecting Republika Srpska, are still here alongside it,” Stevandić told reporters in Banja Luka.
President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated in Srna’s podcast that he had information that the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH had planned his assassination along with that of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, emphasizing that Sarajevo targets those who do not share the political views of the Bosniaks.
- “That agency was instrumentalized to the point that Osmica (Osman Mehmedagić) created an operational plan for my assassination, as well as Vučić’s and others who oppose Bosniak interests,” said Dodik.
