Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković extended congratulations to all citizens of Srpska and Serbia on the occasion of the Day of Serb Unity, Freedom, and National Flag, emphasizing the significance of this day in Serb history.
“Serb unity, freedom, and the national flag are three words woven into the destiny of the Serb people. Those who fail to understand this are gravely mistaken. Unity is essential to us, freedom is the guarantor of our survival, and the Serb tricolor is linked to the creation of our Republic,” Višković stated during a press conference following the official reception at the Palace of the Republic.
Višković expressed deep gratitude to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik for enabling this date to become a shared holiday celebrated by all Serbs around the world.
“Our national values are: unity, which we cannot do without, freedom, without which Serbs cannot survive, and the national flag, which represents where we are and should adorn every house and home,” Višković said.
He emphasized that Serbs have never taken away the freedom of another nation; on the contrary, they have brought freedom to others.
“Unfortunately, some did not know how to appreciate this, from which we have learned valuable lessons. We will never repeat such mistakes,” Prime Minister Višković concluded.
