The Confucius Institute at the University of Banja Luka is organizing a new cycle of Chinese language courses from September 16 to December 27, 2024.
- The courses are free for students and staff of the University of Banja Luka, as well as for elementary and high school students who choose to attend the course at the Confucius Institute. The course fee for others interested in studying Chinese is 200 KM, according to a statement from the University of Banja Luka.
The Confucius Institute is also offering an online Chinese language course during the same period to make learning Chinese accessible to everyone interested.
Business Chinese
A Business Chinese course, designed for those looking to enhance their professional or international career by mastering the basics of business communication in Chinese, will also be held during the same period. The cost of this course is 200 KM for all interested participants, while it is free for high school students.
Participants in all courses will have the opportunity to learn Chinese from native speakers and local sinologists, and receive a certificate of successful completion of the three-month course. Classes are held twice a week in the evening, lasting 90 minutes each, using standardized HSK textbooks divided into six levels or standard business textbooks for the Business Chinese course.
In addition to language classes, the Confucius Institute offers the opportunity to take the international standardized Chinese language test for non-native speakers, the HSK exam, and the YCT exam for elementary school students twice a year. This allows participants to validate their Chinese language skills and obtain an internationally recognized certificate.
Tai Chi course
In the coming period, the free Tai Chi course will continue. The course will be held twice a week on the plaza in front of the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka, or in the lobby, depending on the weather conditions.
