The traditional festival “Veče ojkače” at the Moštanica Monastery, on the eve of the Feast of the Transfiguration on August 18, will be held this year under the high patronage of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
Eighteen ojkača singing groups will compete for valuable cash prizes.
The prize for the first place is 10,000 KM, the second place 5,000 KM, and the third place 3,000 KM.
“Veče ojkače” at Moštanica is a manifestation that preserves authentic folk creativity, and efforts will be made each year to improve the organization of the event.
