The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to France, Bojana Kondić Panić, stated that the opening of Srpska House in Paris is highly significant for both Republika Srpska and Serbia, as it provides an opportunity to showcase Serbian culture and tradition in the best possible way.
“Last night, I attended the welcoming ceremony for the champions, a reception for Serbian shooting representatives Zorana Arunović and Damir Mikec, who won a gold medal. Tonight, there is an event expected to attract a larger number of business people from France,” she said, adding that events are planned for each evening to attract tourists.
Kondić Panić also noted that the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris sparked considerable dissatisfaction and revolt among citizens, political leaders, and athletes in France.
She emphasized that the ceremony unnecessarily tarnished the event and that the majority of French citizens share this sentiment.
Kondić Panić reminded that, due to the Olympics, France has heightened security measures and deployed thousands of police officers from around the world.
