Savić: Marfi has assimilated into the Sarajevo scene

Advisor to the President of Republika Srpska, Bojan Savić, stated that US Ambassador Michael Murphy has misused his ambassadorial mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the worst and most base manner, openly displaying an unbelievable amount of sick hatred towards the Serb people, Republika Srpska, and its leadership simply because they respected the Dayton Agreement and did not allow the disempowerment of Republika Srpska, thereby fully unmasking and discrediting him.

“Murphy’s rhetoric, as well as his shameful, amateurish, biased, and deceptive statements, have no connection to diplomacy or the role of an ambassador. His tenure in BiH is a total failure, as he is a person who mistakenly found himself in a very responsible and esteemed position,” Savić emphasized.

Reacting to Michael Murphy’s statement yesterday in which he claimed that “sanctioned individuals” are running Republika Srpska like a family business, questioning the needs of the citizens of Republika Srpska, and mentioning the family of President Milorad Dodik, Savić said that Murphy, with this statement, has once again shown that he is everything but a diplomat, surpassing himself in his hatred for everything Serb.

“His behavior, the topics he deals with, and the language he uses are not only undiplomatic but also classic examples of the language typical of the Sarajevo scene, which Murphy has perfectly assimilated into. With daily statements and social media posts, this so-called diplomat increasingly disgraces the country he comes from and, day by day, confirms that he is a great embarrassment for the US,” Savić noted.

According to him, Murphy’s outbursts of various frustrations are the result of his bitterness, despair, and impotence because he has to return to the US defeated by those he attacks the most, as they did not allow him to achieve his numerous intentions and desires—from installing his puppets at the helm of Republika Srpska to seizing Serbian property, abolishing the entity, and creating a unitary BiH.

“What caught my attention in Murphy’s latest pamphlet, besides all the vile things he mentioned along with his Bosnian collaborators in the US-Sarajevo embassy, is his supposed concern for Republika Srpska,” Savić highlighted.

He stressed that Murphy has dedicated his entire ambassadorial mandate to the Serb people and Republika Srpska, its status, Constitution, laws, finances, “forgetting” that Republika Srpska is the first in BiH to form a government after elections and has its legally and legitimately elected president, whom the people have trusted for decades, a prime minister, ministers of finance and justice, and members of the National Assembly, indicating that they do not need an American so-called diplomat.

“But if he is so eager to engage in politics, I would advise him to give up diplomacy, as he clearly isn’t good at it, and form a party in the Federation of BiH and run for president of that entity or, given his political inexperience and amateurism, for mayor of Sarajevo. However, that might be his maximum, which he might be able to reach, only if I am not overestimating him. Otherwise, he could run for president of a local community or a neighborhood council in his beloved kasaba (small town),” Savić concluded.
