The hybrid war and pressures against Republika Srpska, primarily economic and political, will continue until global issues such as the US elections and the West’s conflict with Russia in Ukraine are resolved, said Slobodan Župljanin, Dean of the Faculty of Security and Protection at the Independent University of Banja Luka.
“It is indisputable that a hybrid war has been waged against Republika Srpska for an extended period, in the full sense of the term ‘hybrid war,’ which encompasses every form of warfare except armed conflict,” Župljanin stated.
He added that there is undoubtedly no international community commitment to engaging in war, armed conflicts, and confrontations in this region. As a result, every other aspect of hybrid warfare, including economic, political, sociological, environmental, and technological activities, has been very intense.
“We already see this in action, and in this phase, the most prominent elements of hybrid warfare are economic and political,” Župljanin said.
Župljanin emphasized that the hybrid war against Republika Srpska will undoubtedly continue, noting that domestic factors in the Federation of BiH are supported by the policies of the USA, the UK, and Germany.
“They are the true creators of all operational actions and procedures coming from the Federation of BiH, as the political elites in the Federation of BiH lack the knowledge and other capabilities to conduct such a hybrid war in the current segments,” Župljanin concluded for Srna.
