The latest post on the social network X by the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is pure political spin aimed at provoking a reaction from the public in Republika Srpska and preventing the institutions of Republika Srpska from functioning, stated the Prime Minister of Srpska, Radovan Višković.
“The companies Prointer, Sirius, and others mentioned in the post are companies that have distinguished themselves and become recognizable for their outstanding solutions in the IT sector. This is confirmed by the American organization USAID, which chose the company Prointer to develop software for debt record-keeping,” said Višković.
He noted that the company Sirius is implementing one of the most important projects in Republika Srpska, which is the new fiscalization process aimed at increasing budget revenue and reducing the gray economy.
“Regarding the frequent public inquiries from the US Embassy in BiH about the financial situation in Srpska, I emphasize that the overview of all financial parameters is available to the public through the Budget Execution Report, which is available on the websites of the Government of Republika Srpska and the National Assembly of Republika Srpska,” Višković stated.
He highlighted that the documents clearly show the state of debt, and that Republika Srpska is borrowing less, repaying more debt, and servicing all obligations on time from the budget.
“By constantly pressuring companies that carry out important tasks in the financial sector in Republika Srpska, which should be emphasized, are chosen in accordance with the Law on Public Procurement, meaning in accordance with legal and transparent procedures, it is a constant pressure on Republika Srpska to publicly discredit the companies, employees, institutions, and leadership of Republika Srpska by unsubstantiatedly mentioning these companies and their work,” the Prime Minister of Srpska emphasized.
He added that since they have not succeeded in financially breaking Republika Srpska, from which they do not desist, they have now chosen a strategy of media discrediting of the leadership of the institutions, the state of public finances, and companies to tarnish the political elite that successfully resists all pressures and successfully leads Republika Srpska.
