Tomislav Vukomanović and Mykyta Alistratov will clash in the main event for the WBC Youth World Champion title at the “Banja Luka Challenge.” In this open-air spectacle, the fighters will vie for victory in the welterweight category up to 66.6 kilograms, and the young man from Banja Luka is confident of triumphing on home ground.
Vukomanović has eight professional boxing matches under his belt, all of which he won, three by knockout. On the other hand, the Ukrainian fighter has over 140 amateur boxing matches. He is undefeated in professional boxing, with nine victories, and hopes to continue his successful streak in Banja Luka.
“Banja Luka is a beautiful city, it’s very warm, but that doesn’t bother me. I am ready for the match, and I won’t make any predictions. You’ll see everything in the ring tomorrow,” said Mykyta Alistratov.
The two young boxers will fight in 10 rounds of three minutes each. As a prelude to this clash, there are six more fights scheduled for tomorrow, including one in Olympic boxing, one in professional boxing, and four in kickboxing.
The program at the Central Stadium of the National Tennis Center begins today at 8 PM. Vukomanović and Alistratov are expected to enter the ring shortly after 9:30 PM.
