The Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, stated that BiH is not facing any Greater Serb policy, but rather Greater Bosniak unitarism, which persistently aims to marginalize two of the three constituent peoples.
“Such a practice is the main cause of BiH’s failure, not the nonexistent external threat that Denis Bećirović talks about,” emphasized Cvijanović.
Cvijanović said that out of respect for the victims, she did not want to comment yesterday, but it was simply impossible to remain silent about the outbursts of Serbophobia that Denis Bećirović expressed at the commemoration in Potočari.
“Unfortunately, Bećirović used Srebrenica to once again fuel hatred against Serbs, Serbia, and Republika Srpska,” pointed out the Serb member of the Presidency.
She said it is sad that Bećirović’s Serbophobia and unitarist aspirations are encouraged by certain foreigners in BiH, who do not condemn but rather applaud the hate speech coming from Sarajevo.
“These foreigners, who are otherwise full of talk about coexistence and reconciliation, in practice do everything to ensure that this never happens,” concluded Cvijanović.
