Anja Ilić, Director of the Audio-Visual Center of Republika Srpska, attended the filming of the final scenes of the film “Hercules,” which received support through the center’s competitions for script development, project development, and co-financing of film production.

The filming lasted seven days at locations in Banja Luka, and the film is now entering the post-production phase.

“Hercules” is a short feature film written and directed by Marko Dukić, produced by “Didascalia” under producer Nikola Đaković, in collaboration with Studio Spotless.

The film tells the story of a depressed man on the brink of suicide who gradually finds hope and purpose in raising a cicada larva, transforming his chaotic life and proving his worth to himself and those closest to him.

The lead role is played by Ljubiša Savanović, with supporting roles by Ksenija Marinković, Nina Nešković, and Izudin Bajrović.

The creative team also includes director of photography Saša Petković, set designer Slobodanka Pilić, costume designer Duška Kukavica Vujmilović, sound designer Igor Suzić, editor Saša Karakaš Šikanić, and composer Petar Bilbija.
